God's Provision

We opened an account today under WMC Ministries for those who have so graciously supported our extended mission work in Peru. Tickets were running over $1000/ticket. After a full day of researching by mom and Larinda we were able to find tickets out of WA DC for $450/ticket. God has already provided the funds for this first leg. We still have to get from LIMA to Iquitos and last time we checked, those tickets are running $500/ticket. Pray that we will be able to find a deal on those tickets also. Praising God for His provision thus far. It is a faith walk all the way. Sent appeal letter out to airlines for 2nd baggage. Working on a prayer card since that will be most crucial for our entire stay.

And the journey begins!

Well this is where the journey begins... right here at home... packing and getting ready!
We are all super excited to go to Peru, though we will miss many while we are gone. We're starting by pulling out all the suitcases! It's going to be a lot of baggage, here is where our first prayer request (of many) comes in, the airlines have changed from being able to take two 50lb bags to only being able to take one... now with a total of 12 people going overseas for 6 months you need a little more!! so mom is going to make an appeal. Pray all goes well!!
